Balance Volleyball Outreach

Today’s youth need help balancing God, family, school, and sports. This will be a structured program for girls 6th-12th grades.

We have 3 primary goals we try to accomplish in Balance Volleyball Outreach

1) Teach that in sports God is always first. “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” (NKJV - Colossians 3:17) We'll have biblical lessons that are relevant to sports and girls in the 6th-12th age group.

2) Teach volleyball basics and fundamentals. We’ll usually have guest coaches, along with experienced players to help with this.

3) Have fun in a safe and friendly environment where kids are able to learn about God and volleyball side-by-side. Teach that good sportsmanship and winning go together. Keep focus on the understanding that you can't really win without God in your life.

We'd love to see you here, as it's a great opportunity to focus on the Lord and get some valuable training and court time. Not to mention, having some fun and meeting new friends.

This is also open to friends outside of CBC.

Club Info

Over the last 3 years, while doing BVO and club ball, many parents and players have said that BVO should have a team(s) for club ball. We always liked the idea of a God-centered team that brought God to the court and was a light to other teams around them.

If you're a coach and think this would be something of interest to you, we'd love to discuss it in more detail and see if it's the right fit. If you're not a coach, then possibly you could refer a coach you've worked with or know of that could be a good fit. We hope to have a paid coaching position if funds allow.  Our greatest need though, is to have a coach with a passion for the Lord and the desire to pass that on to the players.

If you're a parent or a player, then pray and think about BVO and if this would be a good fit for you or your daughter.

W'ed also like to know if have any ideas or thoughts to share about ways to improve BVO.

The teams we have will change year to year as it depends on who God brings to us for coaching and playing. Generally speaking we would have a U14,16, and 18 team.  We're going to be attending Missoula events and keep the season flexible, depending on the coach(‘s) and player’s desires. We may travel to farther points if finaces and players area availabe for those.

BVO club practice is usually on  Monday and Thursday night.  If you're interested in seeing how things are done at BVO please come by.  Please check the calendar for dates.
