The new group will meet every week for prayer, encouragement, and sequential Bible reading, covering the New Testament, Proverbs, Psalms, and Ecclesiastes—all within a single year. Everyone is welcome. Each session features a short introduction, group Bible reading aloud (ending at a chapter break), prayer time, and closing announcements.
No sign-up required, just bring a Bible and an open heart!

Ever wish you could read your Bible more often—but find yourself falling out of the habit? You’re not alone! Many desire to read their Bibles more often but find it hard to maintain this essential habit alone. That’s why we’re starting a new Bible reading group at Central Bible Church, and it’s all about helping each other actually follow through. Every week, we’ll meet up, read a few chapters out loud, pray together, and chat about what stood out. It’s friendly, low-pressure, and open to anyone, no matter your age or background.
The New Testament gives clear encouragement: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom” (Colossians 3:16). In the Psalms, the Bible says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105), and being part of a group helps keep that lamp burning steadily.
No need to register or prepare in advance—just come as you are, bring a Bible, and let’s start a life-changing new habit together.
We’ll kick things off Saturday, October 18 at 6 PM and keep meeting every Saturday night after that.
